PREPARING FOR A NEW YEAR

As we are less than a week away from entering a brand-new year, I am filled with gratitude and excitement for the encouragement that you all have continued to offer to the Joyfully HIS Ministry! I am so very thankful for each and every one of you who has been a part of our Joyfully HIS community throughout the past year.

MEET THE FOUNDER OF JOYFULLY HIS

Jennifer N. Pearson graduated from the University of West Georgia in Carrollton, Georgia, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in mass communications. While completing her degree, she also earned the Writing Across the Curriculum Award. In addition to her undergraduate degree, Jennifer is currently pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Christian Studies from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. She has spent the past several years studying, learning, and understanding spiritual disciplines and exploring ways to apply and incorporate them into her own life. She and her husband have three children and live in LaGrange, Georgia.

Jennifer’s childhood dream was to be an author, but that did not happen right away. While in a season of raising children and creating a home, the Lord was calling her closer into His family and revealing to her the importance of her daily walk with the Lord and the focus on her eternal home.

Her first book, Growing in God, came to fruition after she had spent several years studying, learning, and understanding spiritual disciplines and how to apply and incorporate them into her life. These disciplines helped Jennifer to find the balance of being mindful of the things of this life, but keeping her heart and mind set on eternity. This first book was the place where her childhood dream and the Holy Spirit came together.

WHAT IS JOYFULLY HIS?

Joyfully HIS is an online ministry space that was created for the sole purpose of helping and equipping others to grow in Christ by providing tools that inspire the world to seek Christ in their everyday life. Through blogs, books, in-depth Bible reading plans, prayer prompts, Bible Studies, speaking events, and much more, our prayer is that people all over the world will be encouraged to find their JOY in Christ alone through the intentional implementation of Spiritual Disciplines.

Enhanced Bible Reading Experience

Joyfully HIS is introducing a month-by-month Bible reading plan that goes beyond simply reading. It's a unique method designed to help you take a deep dive into Scripture each day thus gaining a better understanding of God's Word.

Scripture Memory Challenges

You will continue to receive scripture memory challenges, but now, each month, you will receive 8 verses to memorize that directly relate to your monthly reading as well as opportunities to review them all throughout the year. This intentional approach will fill your heart with the living Word of God creating an overflow to the world around you.

Monthly Prayer Prompts

Alongside the reading plans and scripture challenges, we will also be introducing monthly prayer prompts. These prompts will guide you in forming a rich and meaningful prayer life throughout the year.

You will have the option to download your complimentary Bible Reading Plan each month as a special thank-you for being a part of the Joyfully HIS Family. We are also in the process of finalizing a monthly booklet that contains an expanded day-by-day guide of this plan with additional resources for those of you who are looking to take a deeper dive into Scripture with a structured format.
